Marco Serena joins CUNEF University

Marco Serena, Ph.D. was appointed Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Economics at CUNEF University, Madrid.

Marco Serena is an applied theorist with interests in contests, political economy and bounded rationality. Serena recently started working on empirical and experimental economics.

He was a graduate student at the Universidad Carlos III, Madrid, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Economics in 2017. Marco Serena has been a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance since January 2016. He has published numerous papers in renowned journals.

In January 2024, he will join the Faculty of Economics at CUNEF Universidad (Madrid) as an assistant professor. CUNEF is a cutting-edge private university, considered a benchmark in Higher Education thanks to its high level of specialization and its high degree of internationalisation.
