“International Tax Law and International Tax Policy” was the title of a seminar held for LMU Munich students at the MPI for Tax Law and Public Finance on January 9 and 10, 2025.
The seminar topics ranged from “Base Erosion and Profit Shifting” to tax issues of international mobility or the future role of the United Nations in tax law. A particular highlight for the participants was the fact that Achim Pross, Deputy Director within the OECD’s Center for Tax Policy and Administration, led the seminar together with Wolfgang Schön, Director at the Max Planck Institute, and was able to explain the tax policy background of many new rules and reform projects to the students at first hand. It was a productive two days in Munich for everyone.”
