The policies of the European Central Bank and their limitations have been at the core of a debate over the viability of the Eurozone that has only intensified during the area’s current economic crisis. What is the significance of “one size does not fit all”? This conference will carefully assess the monetary policy in the Eurozone, while addressing questions such as whether monetary policy can be separated from fiscal policy and touching upon issues such as what are the foundations of the goal of price stability.
